Forever and a Day

During my cancer treatment I was dong a lot of writing and recording in my home studio. I had always wanted to write a James Bond Theme song so my friend and frequent co-writer Judy Klass and I wrote this together. I looked up all the James Bond books that hadn't been made into a movie yet and picked a title that way. Here is "Forever and a Day".

A full white moon floating above the fear,
Pale and smooth, till it sinks in a river of tears
The cover of dark, we’re safe till the morning sun
A blood red dawn that rises on the horizon
I call your name, longing for the kisses
They kill the pain, love that never misses

Slowly, I feel my way at the end of my rope
Love won’t linger long, It’s brief as a song

A butterfly may tremble, when it's caught
Night carries us to a place beyond all thought

Lost in the now, breathless from the danger
